  I had one of those close male friendships. Our female boss called us brofriends, and we thought it was funny so we&apos;d introduce each other to people that way. He eventually moved back home hundreds of miles away. I miss my brofriend.

  In my experience there’s nothing that brings men together anymore. Just going out, drinking, and consuming gets old very fast and even feels humiliating, like what we’re just a bunch of dudes doing nothing?

  When my friend was moving outta state we said all the things that we kept unsaid for so long. This grown man cried when he told me he loved me. I cried too. I love my homies with all my heart.<br><br>Just fucking say it. Even if they call you soft or gay who cares. If you love your friends, just fucking tell them. They&apos;ll say it back when they realize it&apos;s okay to say it

  I would say another problem is that many men are way too focused on chasing women, and especially when the average man enters a relationship, then that man invests most of his free time in that woman and neglects to spend time with his friends. Then after a breakup that man comes back and wants to hang out again

  As a guy I feel that men are often lazy when it comes to planning social activities together. They often just come to crash at someone’s place to do drugs and maybe play video games. Women on the other hand often plan things more thoughtfully like cooking specific dishes, her girlfriends pitch in too, they play some games, have conversations to know more about each other’s lives better

  I had 10+ friends from 18-26, none of them ever went above and beyond for me like I did for them. Now at 33, I have no “friends” but I have my daughter and wife, haven’t been happier in my life than I am right now.
