Listen ABBA for decades before I realized how fantastic this song actually is. But I always loved the base and basedrum in the intro and the guitarsolo part

WereAllGENxhere Please react to "One man one woman" and "He is your brother" - live by Abba. If you like gitarriff. 😍🤗👍

You have to listen to the fast paced live version. It totally changes the frantic theme of the song.

You are right about the meaning of the lyrics. This is part of a mini musical they performed during their tour in 1977. The girls both wore blonde wigs and the musical was called "The Girl with the Golden Hair". It featured "Thank you for the Music", "I Wonder (Departure)", "I'm a Marionette" and "Get on the Carousel". I was fortunate enough to be at that concert in Amsterdam.

Abba has so many great songs that it's easy to classify many of them as underrated. That being said I wouldn't call this one underrated, I'd give it a grade of only 4 in a 1 to 10 scale. So not underrated, just nowhere as good as others.

Always loved this song. In many ways ABBA’s strength was their complete musicality. More than a pop band . Organic, not manufactured, endless talent and a desire to keep improving. So glad they came back with Voyage album .. eventually but this was their hay day, though they never seem to go away. Nice review and reaction.
