You have to keep in mind that Superman didn't become a dictator just because he kill the Joker. there were a lot of people involved like Regime Wonder Woman who is manipulating and pulling the strings to influence Superman the entire time. and yet Superman didn't realize it yet.

I will never blame Regime Superman for killing the Joker. but his actions afterwards. especially since majority of which was influenced by Regime Wonder Woman is unforgivable. She is the one who instigated Superman’s loss and grief and turned it into anger and hatred. which is more than what Joker did that he lit the flames. But Wonder Woman turned it into a inferno.

A lot of people see Injustice Superman as the central antagonist and his descent into tyranny sparked by the tragic loss of Lois Lane and his unborn child. however the True Villain that is lurking in the shadows was Regime Wonder Woman whose unwavering encouragement of his more authoritarian tendencies that subtly steers him down the dark path. while Superman’s grief and idealism make him vulnerable. it was Wonder Woman manipulating tactics and relentless support of his harsher decisions that transforms Superman from the brightest beacon of hope into it’s darkest oppressor. But Wonder Woman’s quiet yet pivotal extensive influence ensures that his moral decline is as much hers as it is his.
