  Hi, I'm a biker chick. That guy doesn't want her riding at all. He's either intimidated by her independence, or so lacking in confidence of his own self worth that he's afraid she's going to meet someone better then him while she's out in the world where — note — *he can't follow*. It's completely controlling, disgusting behavior and she should leave him on the side of the road.

  I was widowed in 2010, my Carl and I were together almost 7 years and married for 5 years and a month exactly when he passed.  I met my chapter 2, Tony in 2013... we were married in 2014. What i love about my Tony is that he's strong enough to love a widow. He understands that I will ALWAYS love my Carl,  and that I miss him everyday,  but I also LOVE HIM. He'll hold me on bad days ( like our anniversary or his death date), dry my tears and ask for a story from my life with Carl. A real man, won't be threatened by your past.

  My dad is currently in the middle of divorcing his wife of 18 years. He married her a few years after my mom passed from cancer. She could literally never get over the fact that he had a happy life and kids in his life before her and made his life a misery. If someone can’t accept your past, you need to move on.

My mom is now remarried after 14 years of looking for someone who would respect the fact that he was a big part of our lives and that he still is even though he’s no longer here. My stepfather is an amazing person who respects that, and on the anniversary of his passing he watches my step and half siblings so me and my mom have our day to go visit him and pay our respects. &nbsp;It took her years to find someone who understood, but I’m so glad she finally did.

  My partner lost his fiance 3 years before we met. He doesn&apos;t have tattoos yet, but his first will be a memorial piece for her. I plan on helping him design it and sit with him while he gets it. Her photo hangs in our living room, and she has a memorial shelf next to my mom&apos;s. Seeing the devotion he had for her was a huge part of how I knew he was a good one. And I&apos;d never ask him to stop or change his grief and celebration of her just because he met me.

  My partner is a widower and he talks about his wife all the time and sometimes even calls me by her name, which he always feels bad about. I consider all of this to be normal, he loved her and they were together for many years. Our relationship is our relationship. Being jealous of a dead loved one is crazy.
