  You completely misinterpreted Denji and Reze. Calling it carnal and transactional skips everything Fujimoto actually puts on the page and ignores the complexity of his work. <br><br>Yeah, Denji&apos;s wants start out basic: food, a bed, a girlfriend. But that&apos;s intentional. He grew up paying off his dead dad&apos;s debt, selling his own organs, eating scraps. When you&apos;ve had nothing, a normal life IS the dream. It displays humility and humbleness. <br>And Reze is the first person who gives him a taste of that normal life instead of just dangling it.<br><br>Look at what their time together actually is. They meet hiding from the rain in a phone booth, and she pulls a flower out of her mouth just to make him smile. He hangs around her café. She sneaks him into a school at night and teaches him to swim, because he never got to go to school and neither did she. They go to the festival together. None of that is about sex. It&apos;s two kids getting the childhood that got stolen from both of them, even if it&apos;s just for a few days.

  For the Rem part I feel people forget the torture she put him through. I don’t care if it’s a failed loop, if so then his previous deaths don’t matter like seeing Emilia die. Her(Rem) love is there but the fact is the love would more so be toxic. To the torture part I believe in the next loop he was sick out of his head trying to get her to trust him because, how would you feel one of the people you care about and want to protect just kills you based on a suspicion. That’s my part on the rem part went a bit out of topic but this was a great video. Believe want you want I don’t care who you prefer but that’s that.
