  I think part of the reason there’s so many Teslas out there is because you just buy them online and don’t have to deal with shady dealerships

  I can't wait for this. The Ford dealership tried charging me $1000 for a "document fee" and $800 for a "financing fee". I had to walk away twice before they wavied them.

  Dealerships deserve the future they're creating every day. The majority of customers HATE them. That can only last so long before a bigger shark eats the predatory dealerships. Customers will be willing to try a new way.

  Amazon is doing this exactly at the right time when dealerships are cockier than ever, and that's why they are going to take the whole market. Dealerships right now are literally money grabbing scheme, it's all about maximizing profits by robbing oblivious people and looks like finally people are realizing that. Service in dealerships is literally non existant, they have no clue about what they are doing, they are replacing parts that should only be calibrated or repaired, they are replacing the whole engines for minor things, most of their service stuff can't even change oil without overtightening drain plugs and the oil filters, it's a big mess and people are fed up with that. Amazon will kill it, and I support that even If it's leading to a Wall-E world.

  The last time I got a new car from a dealership I left feeling humiliated, scammed and defeated, overriding the joy of the new car. Still affects me today.

  Dealers need to be cut out of the buying process. In fact, Dealers need to be eliminated completely, and there should only be delivery centers & warranty service centers. Manufacturers need to be banned completely from blocking people from working on their own vehicles after warranties expire.
