  Thank you Kurtis and Karen, for every Friday. I am currently going through cancer treatment, as I have just been diagnosed with it. So this is one of the things I look forward to. One of the best 30mins to an hour I don&apos;t look back on, unless I re watch a video lol, loads of love from Garry, in essex UK xxxx

  As a50+ year as a Journeyman Industrial Machine Repairman ,I’ve found by using Loctite 242,the low strength ( Blue ) on the outer parts of the threads, when assembly, Not to keep them from winding out, but to seal the threads from dirt and water intrusion 👍

  That bit about dressing the top of the threads with the flap wheel does more than a lot of people realize, as that normally is the origin of a thread &quot; picking up&quot;. I used to work with an old Swiss guy who would dress down the peaks of threads like that, he called it &quot;killing the threads&quot;. From an engineering viewpoint, the peaks aren&apos;t really carrying the load anyway on anything less than a nearly perfect thread interface. Great video as always, Karen&apos;s attention to detail on the video production matches your focus on the mechanical side of things

  These fix or repair parts videos are my absolute favorite. So satisfying seeing an expensive parts salvaged for years of further use. Thanks for taking the time to make them for our enjoyment.

  Pulling threads out of a cylinder like that is one of the most satisfying things to see on the planet. Like amazing sunsets, and shooting stars, mountaintop views, deep sea wonders and Curtis pulling twisty metal out of a tube.😂 great video as usual guys thanks!
