I believe that I not only saw one of these Italian Minis but sat in one as a passenger in Lisbon Portugal in the early 1970s.

I love the original Mini , but the Italians evolved the Brit Mini into a very beautiful Mini Italian style. I like it.

Blimey that Mini is great. In 1975 that is exactly what was needed in Britain. 5 years before the Metro too.

The Daihatsu-engined Innocenti Mini was successfully sold here in Canada, but has now completely disappeared from our roads.

I saw both version of the Innocenti Minis at the Londbridge factory when I worked there. Very nice little cars.

My 1974 Innocenti Cooper 1300 is still inthe top three of my all time favorite cars, they were built with better components, the Carello head lights, the Veglia dashboard that you expect in a Ferrari, the Brembo disc brakes up front with servo all these components made it a car superior to its British sister. If you wonder how the Mini got reversing lights? well Innocenti introduced them. I am proud to say that 93-AU-27 still exists today, after I had it profesionally restored and had to sell it due to circumstances ( women of course) But the little rascall still lives in my heart. No Porsche, Jaguar or BMW to drive through a mountain pass, just my humble Innocenti 1300 Cooper will do.
