  Jim is by far my favorite member of the current lineup. He adds so much creative value to Slipknot, I seriously think he’s irreplaceable.

  Jim is the fucking man you know.Back in 2014 on the Prepare for Hell Tour with Slipknot and Korn, I got the chance to do a meet and greet with Slipknot. I have to say, Jim Root is one of the coolest people on the planet. I got to talk to him for about 15 minutes, took a picture with him, and the dude was just genuinely nice.<br>He&apos;s such an incredible guitarist too. His riffs, his songwriting, and his live performances are on another level. Jim has been my favorite member of Slipknot since &apos;99. Hopefully I&apos;ll get the chance to see them live again someday.

  Jim Root is a generational talent. Jim seems like he&apos;s all about expression and the emotion of music as an art. You can&apos;t fake what he plays and writes. He&apos;s like the Danny Carey of guitar playing.

  In 2024, I had the opportunity to photograph and create a video for Slipknot at Knotfest Brazil. Watching this interview reminded me why I admire these guys so much, and how much I relate to the journey they&apos;ve been through.<br><br>It wasn&apos;t easy. Ever since I watched Voliminal: Inside the Nine, I knew this was what I wanted to do with my life. I also believed that if I worked hard enough, one day I would get the chance to work with them. And that day finally came.<br><br>It was the most incredible day of my life. I had the privilege of being just a few feet away from my idols. Of course, I would have loved to ask for an autograph or take a photo with them, but I chose to stay professional. Instead, I simply admired them and lived every second of that moment, knowing how special it was.<br><br>If any of the band members ever happen to read this, I just want to say thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. It meant more to me than I can put into words. And I hope my story reminds people that dreams are worth chasing, because with enough dedication and perseverance, they really can come true.
