Haven’t dated in 6 years since my divorce. Used that time to rebuild and retired at 48. Healthy fit and living the dream. Sometimes I feel like I want to date but then I fast forward and I’m like nah I’m good.

My question is what do I do when I see a girl I have a crush on without being creepy and awkward? I have been told not to approach at all, but how will I find love by not interacting with girls? Also, there were times I got a girl’s number only to be ghosted. And every time I talk with a girl, I’m awkward and nervous. I just rattle questions to prevent silence because I hate silence. But I don’t want to overthink what I say, so I rattle questions that pop up. Finding love feels like gambling nowadays, especially when you spend money for a girlfriend that ends up becoming an ex.
