"Don't stop calculating until there are no forcing moves" is an important principle which I absolutely did not have on my radar... Gonna have to train that.

I think the biggest problems with puzzles and exercises like these are that the puzzles always lead to a tactic, but when you play a game 90% of the calculations lead to nothing.
