  I actually love that a lot of people overlook Oklahoma and make fun of us here. It helps keep it less crowded and relaxed. I would rather be around fewer people than large cities and the people here are so friendly.

  I live in Oklahoma and I can tell y'all now there is a lot y'all missed out on in Oklahoma. Oklahoma has a lot more to offer than just Oklahoma City and Tulsa. There is Little Sahara, The Salt Flats, Gloss Mountain, Wichita Mountains, Turkey Mountain, Lake Murray, Hugo Lake, Lake Altus, USS Batfish a WW11 Submarine that you can spend the night on. Oklahoma has so so so much more to offer.

  Love living in rural NE Oklahoma! Sunrises and sunsets are the best! Hardly ever go to OKC or Tulsa , because so much else to do! Lakes, rivers, mountains, fishing, floating, water skiing, 4 wheeling,  rodeos, or just sitting and enjoying nature! Some of us don't mind being a fly over state! Lol Happy you enjoyed  your visit!

  Oklahoma is Oklahoma. We&apos;re proud of our state. When a tornado comes through, we don&apos;t run. We hunker down and rebuild, if necessary.🙂 <br><br>OKC is actually huge by land area (the 8th largest city in the US), but our population is small for such a huge amount of territory, so when there isn&apos;t an event going on the city can seem very quiet. But go on a weekend, especially during a Thunder game, and the city pops off. Bricktown and downtown after a Thunder game is always packed.

  When taking more time to explore, you&apos;ll see that Oklahoma sits at a biological and geographical transition zone between the arid West and the humid East. &nbsp;The state contains between 11 and 12 distinct ecoregions — one of only four states in the country to do so.   I live in Broken Arrow, &nbsp;(suburb of Tulsa) and I totally agree with the comment someone made in the feed about loving it when people overlook Oklahoma, keeping it less crowded for the rest of us. &nbsp;I was a military brat, and grew up all over the world and in 7 different states. &nbsp;After my father retired we moved to Oklahoma. &nbsp; I never want to live anywhere else. &nbsp;I happily travel and just as happily return to Oklahoma . &nbsp;Thank you for visiting Oklahoma, &nbsp;hope you come back❤

  Not so loud!! We like to keep Tulsa to ourselves. Haha love your videos and love our most diverse state. Tulsa was the Dubai of the world 100 years ago. LOTS of music, art and food &nbsp;in Tulsa!!! Hidden gem now days.

  I am an OKC girl, we own a small toy store, and we get people who come from all over the country and abroad, especially since we are near rt 66. I am always telling people how much amazing things we have in our State, City, etc. I think that we are very overlooked. We have so many different kinds of terrain in the state. So many museums, art galleries, natural attractions, etc. I am constantly reminding our friends that live here and start complaining about how we have nothing to do, that just aren&apos;t looking hard enough. Our zoos are awesome, we have an aquarium, we have the biggest playground in the country, we have so, so much to do!!! I am so glad you guys had a great experience here.

  I&apos;m an Oklahoman and some of our most beautiful places are away from &nbsp;the city, like, the Talihina scenic drive, The Witchita mountains, Medicine Park, Beaver&apos;s Bend. As you leave OKC and head down the Indian Nation turnpike the view is just stunning. If you like scenic places, I would venture into the other areas of the state.

  I&apos;m from Texas, but I remember when I was young, and we went to Turner Falls Park in OK. It was beautiful and a lot of fun.
