  Huge RE game fan. I loved this movie, 8.5/10 for me. I think it really nailed the pacing of a RE game.

  I think lots of fans might critique the lore inaccuracies and the setting and “not enough umbrella logos oh nooo”, but that really misses the big picture that this movie literally captures the exact same atmosphere and feeling of playing a RE game: surviving impossible scenarios, navigating tangible spaces, puzzle solving, running from monsters, resource management, gun combat, and a constant feeling of dread and terror all with a bit of campiness. Not to mention Austin Abrams’ performance is great, the filmmaking and sequences are insanely creative, the score adds a lot, and the movie visually looks high quality. This movie isn’t just the best RE film adaption, it’s easily the best video game film adaptation ever made.

  I saw the film tonight. Loved it! Austin Abrams carried the whole film and was adorable ❤ ... as well as being a talented actor, his comic timing was excellent. I did not know it was possible to cringe and laugh at the same time. The images (CGI or not) and soundtrack was also so good.<br><br>We love you, Zach Cregger ... your mind is so horrific but so spectacular at the same time. You definitely have the Midas touch and I can&apos;t wait for your next movie <br><br> I don&apos;t play video games and I completely forgot the movie was based on a video game. What an exhilarating fun movie!

  I really enjoy the beginning of the movie. In horror, less you do, the better. You need award silence, weird close-up, etc. 🎥
