  Ghost Babel apparently has a line towards the end referring to Jack, inferring that Ghost Babel is, while not canon in terms of events in the game, IS canon in Raiden&apos;s head as this was apparently a VR Training Mission for Raiden prior to MGS2.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On6Zbi9_Qms&amp;t=5840">1:37:20</a> <br><br>MGS4 making Naomi some mega hacker alongside inventing nanomachines is just an example of how MGS4&apos;s plot was deeply hindered by insisting on doing all it was supposed to do. It had to bring back as many living characters as it could, find a way for the Patriots to be ended, answer every mystery circa MGS2, conclude the franchise. Naomi&apos;s use in the plot reflects this since she had to be important to Liquid/Ocelot/Big Boss&apos;s plans, needed to get Snake off the hook so he doesn&apos;t die onscreen, needed to do a doomed romance with Otacon, needed to do some undercooked &quot;Frankenstein is confronted with his creature&quot; using her and Vamp, do some &quot;atonement&quot; suicide. They couldn&apos;t introduce some new hacker character working for Liquid Ocelot since the game avoided having a notable amount of new characters who weren&apos;t just one-off bosses (Beauty and the Beast) or there to fulfill a function for the player and inform you about the bosses&apos; pasts (Drebin) or were established/dead characters&apos; kids (Sunny and John) or a reference to Kojima&apos;s other games (Ed and Dave).

  I had never played any Metal Gear games but wanted to play through all of them before Delta came out so i played them all back to back. Man I am so pissed at myself that i didn’t play these games sooner.

  I&apos;d like to say that at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On6Zbi9_Qms&amp;t=9837">2:43:57</a> Miller did NOT know venom wasn&apos;t the real big boss until the &quot;post credits scene&quot; after the truth mission where ocelot tells him<br><br>That is why Miller is so upset, because throughout the entire game he believed his best friend Jack aka Big Boss was working alongside him to get there shared revenge and to rebuild what they together lost only to find out that Jack completely abandoned him and the person that was working with him was somebody who just believed he was Jack

  This timeline video was an absolutely fantastic send-off to your Metal Gear retrospective! Many great points were brought up that have greatly impacted how I view these games, particularly with the story as there are parts of it that I had never considered from your perspective, which has enhanced my enjoyment for the overlapping story Kojima has built over so many years! I love this franchise so much, and I&apos;m very grateful that it&apos;s finally been made accessible again!
