  James Tynions DC run was one of the first I ever read and its one of my favorites. Shoutout to the art in that first volume in particular, its so dynamic.

  Tynion's Detective Comics is one of my favorite Batman stories ever. It was like the Avengers but in Gotham with vigilantes. It was such a nice contrast at the time compared to Tom King's dreary Batman run.

  I have mixed feeling about the Bat-family (definitly too many kids) but i always really liked the two Eternal books. I enjoyed it more than Snyder&apos;s Batman-run. <br>His Detective Comics run was also better than King&apos;s Batman comics. <br>Only read his Batman run once. Still on the fence.<br><br>But about too many kids in the Batfamily, it just seemed too easy to become a superhero in Gotham. That should be a rare thing only possible for an really exceptional person. <br>Not just any kid with an attitude.

  I’m glad I found someone who loves Batman Eternal as much as I do. I love the Batfamily, so this series was my favorite of the New 52. It made me love Harper Row, and I’m one of the people who thinks the Batfamily’s getting too big which says a lot. From the beginning to the end of the New 52, she had a full character arc, going from a street kid to a seasoned superhero. She’s the Batgirl who never was, even more than Duke is the Robin who never was.<br><br>Also appreciate the love of Tynion in general. Rise and Fall of the Batmen is the best Batman story in the first half of Rebirth. I also love his run on the main Batman title. The Joker War is my favorite Batman and Batfamily story. It felt like the climax to all of the Batman stories since the New 52 universe started. Tynion really gets Batman, the Joker, and the Batfamily.
