  Its funny you guys liked this so much. So big surprise for you: A large portion of the midwest population is Scandinavian. So not too surprised you like the food from our area.

  Every state makes meatloaf<br> It stretches far to feed a lot of people and then we eat meatloaf sandwiches with the leftovers 😄

  If there’s two things Midwest food is known for it’s casseroles and soup. It’s all about make-ahead and family gatherings.

  Midwestern cuisine is heavily inspired by old central and northern European foods, so it&apos;s interesting you guys seem to like it even more than other Americans usually do. It&apos;s like the central, underlying concepts are still conducive to your palates even though the individual dishes have evolved so much over the years.

  There are many soups in the US and Midwest. In Minnesota you can’t turn around without running into a bowl of Chicken Wild Rice soup.
