When Denzel's character was wounded. He boiled pure honey. First he used peroxide on the injury, then covered with the warm honey. Honey is a natural antiseptic. Because of its low moisture it draws water away from bacteria and kills it.<br><br>Additionally. The restaurant scene where they sat at the same table, was the reveal. When Denzel tells the antagonists own life story to him and says that the police failed to see in the eyes of the child, that he had X'd the good man. Then he says, "look into my eyes and what do you see". This reveal, explains that Denzel's character is identical. They are both the same. Sociopaths. But where the antagonist was never changed, Denzel's character was instructed and raised (by the CIA) to focus and control his sociopathic tendencies. And imitate 'normal' behavior. Structured around an ordered world, where extreme violence is acceptable, if in the pursuit of a good cause. He is still a sociopath. Just with a clearly understood set of boundaries.
