Ventilation only works in places that have a cool temperature. If you go to tropical places, even the air will feel like the heater is on. 😂

Excellent summary thank you. My wife and I are retired on a Jeanneau 40 during winter along west coast Mexico. We were lucky enough to have an engineer friend convert our Starlink to DC, which made a big difference. I have a heart monitor that I leave plugged in around the clock. I run a dedicated small inverter from a cigarette lighter plug for it.I used to have to use the main inverter which draws a hell of a lot of power and drains our batteries. Between our solar panels and a very good quiet wind generator we are now able to meet our daily energy needs while at anchor.😊
