  I think the best skate is second-hand skate. I bought my RB Twister XT at 80% of its market price(like new condition, with just some few scratches on the wheels). My recommended budget skates for beginners are Decathlon MF500, Flying Eagle F5 and F6s. There are loads of them on the second-hand markets, with a discount about 50%. However, when I was a beginner, I made the mistake of choosing the wrong size for my first skate. I prioritized comfort of putting my feet in the boot over tight fitting, which turned out to be a poor choice in the long run.

  I bought a Rollerblade Lightning 90 this spring for only $150 and I am so happy. I don&apos;t have much experience but these rollerblades are definitely my favourite, I also bought the 80mm wheels and frame separately to get more variety. Absolutely recommend. Just make sure to try them on first and try to get one size bigger than you normally wear

  On the sizing...<br>There&apos;s also shared shell sizes. &nbsp;Where a shell is used for 2 sizes and the difference is in the liner. &nbsp;This isn&apos;t always clear, especially with Amazon. &nbsp;But online skate retailers will sometimes show the range.<br>You typically want the smallest shell for your foot because the liner will eventually break-in and you may have too much space.<br>The other thing is that newer skates are going to be tight and maybe a bit more uncomfortable until the liner breaks in. &nbsp;How much break-in also varies skate to skate.<br><br>Also the RB cruiser specifically is a wide boot. &nbsp;I think the rest of the line are normal.
