Yes, I have a Focus estate Titanium manual. And it has a 2L 150TDCi engine reg 2017 and done 50K miles from new. It is Euro6 and serviced I bought it for the low mileage but actually do not really need it now my wife has died as I d few long journeys. Tax is£20. But I have a Piccanto 1 2020 reg from new and I do the small journeys with that. I think that many cars you mention will not all go wrong as soon as bought. Many folk will be happy if they get a year out a £1K car. Obviously emissions zones need consideration I live in rural Leicestershire and the last time I went to London was 2005 in a vehicle and it was a diesel 186 VW Camper van. Wouldn't be allowed now.

I just want to add a comment about the 12,50 quid per day the city of London will charge you for driving from necessity, or inadvertently, in low emission zone. If I understand the video, it is a charge for driving in a restricted zone. In Bilbao, city in northern Spain, part of the EU you guys in the UK told to go fly a kite, if I drive a car prior to year 2000, the street mounted cameras photograph my licence plate and send me a FINE for 200 €uros. YES, you read that right, a 200 Euro FINE, as if you are a delinquent criminal. I think I would accept the 12,50 pound charge on occasion and swear a bit on my way home rather than tell the wife that I was fined 200€ for a car that, to boot, has satisfied the emission controls in the yearly technical vehicle inspection. This is the modern version of highway robbery!

Wake up folks, it is obvious in my view this vid illustrates very well the anti car Europe and yes even in the UK who are no longer in the EU. Don't stop there this is the first stage in a totalitarian socialist government. You still have freedom of speech and the like. Don't let the bastards drive you down, challenge them wherever they raise their ugly head. What has socialism ever done for Europe or you?
