  FINALLY I&apos;ve found a couple of guys who actually separate the scrap metal and the resellable &apos; junk &apos;. All of the guys who clean up yards and mow lawns throw everything into a trailer and dump it all. That is so depressing, knowing that you can get good money for scrap and so much stuff is good enough quality for resale.<br>I collect scrap copper, brass and aluminum and melt it down in a little furnace then pour into graphite molds. It&apos;s a hobby and the metals are much easier to store in ingots.

  Friendly reminder. Pressure-treated lumber is not safe for use on chicken coops. It contains chemicals that could be toxic to chickens, as they may peck at it. I&apos;ve built chicken upcoops, resting coops, and breeding coops for chicken, and I use regular lumber.
