Very informative video. I'm 70 years old and I have been riding since 1976. I love riding my motorcycle because It is therapy for me.

I got my motorcycle endorsement in 1976. Still have it, still use it. Always learning.

Wow! Humility, really? Many, many years before I ever started riding, my father (an experienced but former rider) told me that the day someone thinks they have mastered the machine is the day that the machine would prove them wrong. I had never thought of it as humility vs. hubris but I think that is exactly what he was saying. I am now 66 and have about 100k riding in the last 20 years but I have never let myself think that I have mastered the skill. I keep learning and remembering that the bike is a machine and does what I tell it right or wrong. It is up to me.

I’ve been riding over 40 years. Currently have two bikes and a scooter - you get a feeling from two wheels that is wonderful. No car journey can touch it.

I rode for 20 years. Surrendered to my wife's fear. Returned to riding at age 74. Now have a 650 and a 125. I ride and enjoy both, each a for what it is designed.
No hot dogging, no showboating.
Regardless of how long or short the ride, no matter the size of the bike, nothing matches the quiet joy of riding and the feeling of calm alertness even after the ride.

I'm 81 years old and have been riding for 65 years. Always on high-performance bikes: 2nd CB750 ever sold in Canada;,1979 Rickman CR with a 900cc Kawasaki Z1 engine; '77 Ducati 750; '65 BSA 650; '67 Norton 750 P11 Scrambler; '57 BMW R50 500cc (my first bike); and my current bike, a 2006 BMW K1200R. I've never taken a lesson but I feel I'm a pretty good rider. Never had a serious accident in 65 years, though I do ride pretty fast in the proper conditions. I've always used the best riding gear available, but I've never used ear plugs. I have excellent hearing. I HATE riding in groups and I never do it, mostly because they ride too slow and you have to always be watching for somebody else to make a mistake. I'm very lucky to still be in pretty good physical shape (for an old-fart). Recently I took the K1200R out of winter storage and my first ride was 390km round trip to a friend's memorial service. My 81 year-old ass was very sore, but tolerable. I don't know how much longer I'll be able to ride, but I'm hoping for at least 10 years. When it's time to stop, I'll stop, without arguments.

I'm coming back to riding after a long long time; starting again on a modest 100cc commuter, as that is what I can currently afford, so I really appreciate (and needed) this.

UK here, I'm 60 now, been riding since i was 12, ride all year round to work and back, I get a lift with a mate in his car on a really bad (Icy, deep snow, blizzards) winters day. when i first started riding, your bike was what ever you could afford at that time. and when you changed your bike for what ever reason, you adjusted your riding style to match.
