One of Fender's biggest rivals is used Fender from 20 years ago.

Rick saying Fender quality is low may have more negative impact on Fender than their frivolous lawsuit.

At the very first job I ever worked, there was a sign on the back of the door into an employee area that read "It takes months to gain a customer and only seconds to lose one." That sign has stuck with me for 30 years for good reason.

Maybe the Fender legal department is bigger than the R&D.

Strat copies were available in the Sears catalogue when I was a kid in the late 60s/early 70s.

It's typical corporate business: decrease quality, increase prices, and short-sightedly maximize profits no matter what.

Love that an advert for a PRS silver sky popped up on this video.

Good to see this video today. I’ve written 3 letters to the guitar world editors saying almost exactly what this video you made says. I told all 3 editors that I wouldn’t buy a Fender guitar regardless of the price or quality. I’m a small collector of guitars. I have 29 instruments. In the guitar world , I’m a nobody . But I say to you, what I told these editors,; ( this just one man’s opinion) I’m 79 and have been flogging my guitars since 1964. Keep up the good work! Maury

Suing the companies making better guitars instead of making better guitars is so funny

Also want to thank Rick for having a strong opinion and not trying to waffle simply because he has so many subscribers. Thank you, brother that is the reason why I am always interested in what you have to say.

6:50 When Rick said that Fender should get rid of the new CEO, I realized how strong his resemblance to Al Pacino is.
