I played the Secret of Weepstone demo and it absolutely blew me away. I'm glad you presented it here because people really need to hear about this title.

Thank you. I’m a relatively new sub and have really enjoyed hours of older classic titles you’ve been playing this year. Hope, you continue as I am probably one of the oldest gamers out in the gaming sphere these days. Cheers!

Found the channel from your first Dungeon Crawler video. Have some suggestions for you:

The Bard's Tale IV - had a lot of fun with this one. It's different from the originals, but a lot of fun to explore the lands around Skara Brae.
Class of Heroes 1 & 2 - Wizardry and anime infused dungeon crawlers set in an adventuring academy.
StarCrawlers - Sci-Fi and cyberpunk themed dungeon crawler; mission based with several classes to choose from.
Wizardry: The Five Ordeals - a bit expensive, but includes five scenarios ported from Japanese Wizardry games and published by the current rights holder Drecom. They are also hosting an online scenario editor.

And as an FYI (if you weren't aware), Eye of the Beholder was inspired by an Amiga and Atari ST game called Dungeon Master. There was not an official PC port of the game, but you can find a Dungeon Master museum site that has PC apps that can play the games along with clue books. Dungeon Master II was made for the PC and does improve on the original and it's expansion.

I played the eye of the beholder in the 90's. They were so amazing at the time. Great world, so cool seeing the classic d&d monsters on screen.

Hey Doc, love this series. I've been playing MMX lately, one thing that's great is the files can be opened and eiddted in excel, so it's easy to modify and I like a little more magic in my might, some good mods out there to. I watched both "crawler" videos. Probably the highest rated one left I know of is Bards Tale 4. The Quest, Islands of Caliph are a couple of other solid one's. Biggest sleeper is Heroes of a Broken Land (HOMM meets Dungeon Crawler and you can have more than 1 team crawling and they can team up, lots of fun. Oh and Wiz8's the boss.

If Ultima is your thing, Moonring is amazing, same pov but with really updated and cool, dude does it for free.

    Some suggestions:
- Islands of the Caliph
- Cyclopean: The Great Abyss (same author btw)
- Dragon Ruins 1 and 2 are pretty fun, more streamlined but fun to explore. 1 is basically a Jam game, 2 is more expanded. There's an standalone expansion beign developed
- Demon Lord Reincarnation, same dev of Dragon Ruins, doesn't have a map - you have to draw on your own. But still fun but on the not so beginner friendly or accessible side.
- Path of the Abyss, not a huge fan, I think the combat system is a bit weird for me, need to give a second myself try tbh, but not a bad game, has lots of good and posite reviews.
