It’s a little bit easier to catch multiple foul balls in Oakland where they don’t have any fans to fight for the ball 😂

You know baseball is wild when that woman's prediction isn't even close to the most absurd one. Mike Blowers predicted Brian Tallet would home run in his second at bat, in a 3-1 count fastball and even where the ball would land. The most unbelievable prediction in sports history.

Any time there's contest like this with big prizes, the companies aren't really the ones paying. They buy insurance. An insurance company calculates the odds, charges the company a fee and is fine with the odds. They know they collect enough fees that when they do have to pay out, it doesn't matter. They're still making profits.

i actually gotta watch homer bailies no hitter for the Reds with home plate seats. Never been to a baseball game that was more energetic in my life, The whole crowd was erupting after every strike and even the other teams fans were cheering.
Everyone knew he was in a different form that night and seeing a no hitter live is a once in a lifetime thing

Mathematically the rarest play in baseball is Randy Johnson hitting a dove with a pitch, live, in play.

Sports science did the numbers on it years ago and it’s a one in 6.1billion chance that that event will ever happen again
