  he didn't become a right hand man JUST cause he's tony's friend or because of seniority. he's a real motherfucker that people take seriously because you don't want to see him at your door or offering you a ride. besides appearing to look like a cartoon of a mobster, he is THE perfect gangster and every family would bennefit from having someone like him: careful, opportunistic and ultra violent

  Silvio is my favorite character overall.. and sort of reminds me of a Dick Tracy villain when he scowls like that lol

  Silvio was very intelligent about dealing with dead bodies and such. I almost wonder if he wasn’t going to have his own spinoff. He was also closer to Tony’s father age. So he has probably made a lot of bodies disappear

  He&apos;s pretty much Sil in Lillyhammer. I have only seen the first season which I liked. The next one isn&apos;t as good apparently.<br><br>His best line in the Sopranos is deciding on the fate of Richie Aprile 😂

  He’s Tony’s right hand and 2nd brain, it’s not that hard to figure out? But like one of many stupid scenes that didn’t make sense, Ralphie killing Tracie right at the stripclub during a time where all the girls were there for some event just disappeared during the middle? That would scare all the girls away from working there or wanting to work there, to not just be killed but dismembered just to make a few dollars… they’d go out of buisness and some girls would def talk to a detective.

  I think the fan base has taken the fact that they were a “glorified crew” completely out of context. That was written in as just one more thing that could be a problem between the two groups.<br><br>If you study the mafia every official crew that has a captain has at least 10 guys on it and keep in mind. Yes New York called them that because they looked down on New Jersey. But it’s not like the DiMeo crime family was just 20 guys. We never got to see every member of their family.<br><br>And for God sakes, we even saw a making ceremony, but everyone just acts like what Phil said in season six is gospel no, they didn’t have swords on the table, but people were getting their fingers pricked and they were burning the religious cards .<br><br>Because the truth truth is in real life and on the show well maybe not in real life now but back in the 80s the New Jersey crime family was about the size of the crime family on the show between 60–70 made members<br><br>But if New Jersey isn’t a real family because they only have 60–70 made members than neither is the Chicago outfit. Neither is Philadelphia and neither is Los Angeles. <br><br>All of those families have smaller families than the Sopranos remember the name of the show is the Sopranos so we’re focusing on Tony Sopranos and the people around him. The show even says that Larry’s crew is the biggest crew in the family, but we only saw one member of his crew besides, Larry is and that was his cousin Alley boy .<br><br>We never met any member of Raymond‘s crew, we never met any member of features crew, really Tony’s crew and the crew that Richie then Ralphie than Vito would captain we’re the only two cruises where you really got to meet the members we never even met one member of Carlos crew other than Walden .<br><br><br>It’s not because they didn’t exist. It’s because not everyone needs to be in the show to tell the story if they had to trot out 70 people it wouldn’t be good storytelling and there would be a lot of complaints of “why all these people here. “<br><br>I mean when you really think about it, we don’t see that many members of the New York family but we know they have 200 members which is a huge family. That’s not the size of the average mafia family. The Gambino family at their peak was about that size, but two other New York families only have about 30 more members than New Jersey had Philadelphia and Chicago are about the same size as the New Jersey family
