  I don't think Edmond want to test their sexual chemistry. He literally said "I gotta hit". He wants sex for his own validation and satisfaction, I don't think he cares about KB at all beyond making sure she given him positive attention always

  As a woman I would not have felt safe after Edmond’s reaction, particularly considering that they already discussed and AGREED upon waiting to have sex. This is scary.

  That was a shockingly favorable interpretation of Edmond. I wish we would mention that some men use this tactic - crying, being sad, being disappointed, to coerce women into sex. I have worked with lots of women who felt like they had to &quot;give in&quot; to make him feel better, even if they did not want to have sex at all - and that can be so traumatizing. You said it well yourself:<br>&quot;It creates a compulsion of paying attention to that infant that&apos;s crying and to try to put an end to the crying by giving the child what they want&quot; - Maybe we need to pay attention how this is used by some men to coerce their partners?

  Its so aggravating that the person being harmed (KB being coerced) has to be the one to understand where Edmond is coming from just because she&apos;s the more emotionally mature/regulated one. Why are we &nbsp;mostly focusing on whats going on with Edmond? Why is KB&apos;s colorful emotional experience only touched on for seconds ? What must she be feeling when a man she trusts seems to be demanding sex from her?
