on Miroslav Klose: he was playing 5th-division football until he was 21 after finishing his training to be a carpenter. incredibly humble and down-to-earth person.

No penalties in Klose's world cup legacy ... others may catch him, but will never be as impressive.

21:15 Thomas Müller glances to his left and sees the brazilians doing that hilarious "Solidarity" chain for Neymar and Thiago Silva and immediately knows the game is won LMFAO

I hope they included that German guy who said pre game "that it will be a solid 7:1" 😂

Joachim Löw told the players during the half time break that any player making fun of the brazilians would get kicked out of the squad immediately. Not the typical ole ole ole that some south american teams would do and make in this situation.

Thanks for posting this! As a German, it’s always interesting to me how our team is being analyzed internationally. I don’t think any German will forget the night we’ve witnessed the greatest football match of a German national team in history. I watched the opening match of the 2026 World Cup in New York yesterday next to a Brazilian woman, and every time I meet a Brazilian, that game and that night is the first thing we talk about.

FYI YouTube cut this one to ribbons with bits I had to trim so apologies if it jumps around a bit. Very protective of this match's action!
