Also, Zhongli called the human soul of zibai a shade, meaning the shades are the "human" parts of phanes they seperated from themselves to impartially judge the people, hence why the shades aid humans inspite of being in essence a part of the hp as they contain the seperated human emotions

it's so funny that despite knowing a lot about zhongli, we have no idea about who or what he is and that alone is so scary

I'm watching this theory seriously, but every time I see those "creepy" eyes on Zhongli I have to cackle a little 😅

The thing that annoys me the most is that all my friends obsess over every archon EXCEPT Zhongli. They say the other archons have more lore and hidden details and while they do have many secrets, Zhongli has way more. There is so much we don't know about him, but most players just accept that as is and don't care???? Like, yeah, Venti is connected to istoroth, but we've known that since forever!!!! Why are you focusing on information that is revealed; focus on the giant elephant in the room man!!!!

(I may or may not feel strongly about this)

For me, it's enough to remember how back in Zhongli's 2nd story quest he called the traveler a "Witness to Teyvat", a key word connects to 3.2 Sumeru AQ's end, that alone makes you realize Zhongli knows more than any of us thinks and refuse to elaborate.

Or rather, he CANNOT, he's forced through a contract with someone who don't want him to say more than he should about Teyvat.

One of these days Zhongli's going to get a lore drop that hits harder than a celestial nail and absolutely nobody is going to look at him the same.
