Trying to replace mine today. Got the old one out, trying to get the new one in. Hardest part is the rubber seal/gasket that fits around the intake side.

EXCELLENT explanation of how the MAF sensor works, what relies on it working properly, what to do and what not to do thank you. I actually cleaned mine a couple of days ago haha (after the smoky wildfire season). AND I do not understand why your video suddenly changes, without explanation, to cleaning and replacing an O2 sensor???

Thank you, very nice video. I have an older car that is not working properly. I will examine the sensor you describe, and purchase the special spray cleaner on my next fateful trip through the world that is.

2007 Mitsubishi Raider 3.7L Replaced it but is still does not want to start. Cleared code and still shows P0112

I have a 2005 Highlander. It was jumped, and the cables were hooked up backwards. Now it will not rev up past 3k rpm,s and it revs up and down by itself. I think it could be the VVT solenoid??? watcha think? The MAF sensor, O2 sensors, and a few others have been replaced, as well as the gas cap...
