  I love how all of these characters have fairly grounded backstories despite their exaggerated designs, and how they&apos;re all working in gamedev. It really gives the cast even more charm than what we saw at the surface level

  I love how much character you can see in the idle animations alone, not even mentioning how fluid and lively the animation is on its own.

  The whole &quot;game about game development&quot; idea is nothing new, but the incredibly colorful and diverse cast on display here (as well as the general super bouncy style that&apos;s a joy to watch) really makes it stand out. Overboard definitely gives off &quot;main villain you feel really bad for once you know why they act like that&quot; vibes in both appearance and theme song.

  My favorite little thing is how on &quot;Jollymandering,&quot; the line &quot;mm that you only meant&quot; is cut and sped up in just such a way that it sounds like it&apos;s saying &quot;Mm the jollyman.&quot; I feel like it&apos;s intentional but regardless it&apos;s cute!
