I remember the craziest round of SS13 that I ever played. I was playing as a medical trainee and within the first five minutes, I along with another doctor, got mind-hacked. We were instructed to cause as much chaos as possible. Immediately, I started spilling beakers of chemicals on the floor and dumping all the medical supplies that I could find into the disposal unit. The medical director walked in, saw what I’m doing, took my ID, and kicked me out. I managed to get back in within 30 seconds after tailgating through the medical bay doors. Upon reentering, the medical director sends out an alert to security to have me arrested. This prompted the other mind-hacked doctor to begin beating the medical director—I joined in and stabbed the director to death with a scalpel. After dealing with the director, I took his ID and I spammed the medical fabricator to make dozens of scalpels in order to deplete all our resources. Then I went to the cloning room to destroy all the data disks so no one can be brought back to life after they die. Meanwhile, the other doctor hauled in a fuel tank, set it next to the cryopods, and then started shooting it. The fuel tank detonated, destroying the cryopods and starting a fire. The fire swept through the medical bay and soon the entire clinic was engulfed in an inferno. The fire suppression system activated but it was too late—the medical sector was burnt to a crisp. At this point, chaos has unfolded across the ship. Security was completely overwhelmed and unable to curb the impending pandemonium. Out of desperation, the shuttle was called quite early. Meanwhile, I used a crowbar to smash open the glass window to the monkey enclosure and started attacking them. However, much to my surprise, they started fighting back. I retreated with the three monkeys in hot pursuit. The monkeys got a hold of some scalpels and charged at me. While I succeeded in taking out one monkey, the rest overpowered me. I was left lying on the ground, drifting in and out of consciousness, surrounded by the charred ruins of the medical wing until I finally succumbed to my injuries and died. 10/10 would recommend

The concept of among us might have been inspired by ss13 but it is certainly far less detailed of a simulation of the traitor system in ss13.

The most fun I ever had in ss13 was playing as an assistant.  I started mid round, and there was lots of stuff going wrong.  I went to med bay to see what was up.  Lots of people were in there.  Having nothing else to do, I started just doing basic patching up of people (I never play medical, too complicated for me.  Im more comfy as the chef, librarian, cargo, or the occasional bartender).  I was basically learning on the job and doing triage in the medical waiting room.  Security would drag an unconscious guy in, leave him at my feet and run off.  I’d run a basic vitals test thing (the most I knew how to do), apply patches to burns, cuts, and bruises, and pass them to the actual technicians.  Sometimes, people would get medicine if I knew what was wrong and which medicine fixed it. I was the last person in medical.  I was trying to save people and get them to the shuttle.  Except, I didn’t notice there was no oxygen left on the station.  I suffocated while trying to save a life… and got them suffocated too. It was a fun round though.  The dedicated little assistant who only knew how to put bandaids on people.  Last to leave, died of suffocation, didn’t save anyone.

There's a lot that goes into it. I myself dove into SS14, which is on Steam. Craziest round for me as a salvager. Basically go rock hopping in a ship to gather trash and loot. One of the things I kept was dehydrated fish in a box. Mean space fish that treat you like a snack. It was possible pirates. And yeah I did get boarded. So in my...ahem...brilliance...I tossed a glass of water onto the open box and watched my ship get filled with hungry fish. Pirates died, but I made an error. I didn't have a way to escape them. So they got to me too. The NFSD came in to try and handle the situation and because of my many many fish, it got difficult, lol.

Oh boy, another person to watch go down the Sseth rabbit hole! I have more rabbit holes for you! Reggie, who gets accused of being a Sseth clone, even though he cites Josh (and others) as his inspiration. Who's Josh? Josh runs Let's Game It Out, the premier channel for gameplay that is both game breaking and mind breaking, and he might be the most patient man on Earth. The last is one I admit is niche humor, but hear me out: StarvHarv is a British guy who used to read wikipedia timelines of historical events/periods that have been translated so many times they became gibberish and illustrates the mad ramblings with stock images. There's even recurring characters: He, She, and I!

Edit: Holy space carp, 100+ likes? and a heart? That's a first for me. just as a heads up, its because of Seeth that he caused a resurgence in the game. But also caused a lot of issues with the old guards. I've been playing since 2008. but a lot of it was on and off. also the servers he was playing on are old now, or gone, or had changed. Another is that, some servers are more Heavy RP focus, with some not being so much so. Also hearing the Bwoink sound triggers to hell out of me  after years of playing. lol
