with the sinigang mix, i think the only way to prep it properly is to stir fry onions, tomatoes, put 3 cups water, then put the mix in and stir till dissolve if you want the quickest sinigang soup (i think this is also how they do it in inasals haven't tried it yet tho).

You have to at least cook the sinigang mix in boiling water to dissolve it properly, add some onion, tomato and a little bit of salt to make it more sour. That's how we do it during college days just to have sinigang soup hahaha. And it tastes like mang inasal's sinigang soup.
