The worst part isn't noticing everything... it's pretending you didn't notice just to keep the peace. The storytelling in this video is incredible—I felt understood for the first time in a while.

It's exhausting having to pay attention to everything. That's why I prefer staying home and avoiding social interaction.

Sensitivity isn't the problem. Carrying everyone else's emotions is.

And Sometimes the people who notice everything wish they could notice less. Seeing beyond words can protect you from lies, but it can also make it much harder to find peace.

I've noticed that people who notice too much often carry the heaviest minds. They pick up on changes in tone, body language, and unspoken emotions that others miss. It's a gift, but it can also become exhausting when your mind never really gets a chance to rest.

In addition to noticing, I'm cursed with a good memory. Thus, I can't even forget my unwanted observations.

The breakdown on hyper-vigilance hits home so hard. People think noticing everything is a choice, but your brain is actually just wired to constantly scan the environment for micro-shifts in tone, body language, and energy. You aren't being nosy; your nervous system is treating an unnatural shift in someone's mood like a literal safety threat. It’s an exhausting way to exist, but this video explains the 'why' beautifully.

I'm a total people pleaser. I shape myself to please everyone I interact with. I tend to hide my true feelings and opinions in order to please others. I feel like I don't really know who I truly am anymore.

Sometimes the people who seem the calmest are actually processing a thousand tiny details every second. Did anyone else see themselves in this?

The humanity of a society can also be seen in how it treats its weakest members.
