  As far as planets around all stars goes, it is believed that all stars likely have planets, but they are extremely hard to observe. James Webb is helping with that, but you&apos;re basically trying to see a piece of sand traveling around an extremely bright flashlight 100 times larger than the sand hundreds of miles away. This varies based on the size of the star and the size of the planet, so what we typically observe are Jupiter sized objects around medium sized stars, aka the size of our sun. &nbsp;Additionally, technically other planetary systems wouldn&apos;t be called solar systems because &quot;solar&quot; is based off the Latin name of our star, Sol.

  What made me fall in love with cosmology in undergrad what the idea that of what is beyond our ability to observe. We make all of these conclusions based on the observable universe, but what is happening beyond what we can observe? What are we not seeing? Plus, &nbsp;we assume the universe is homogeneous, meaning that if we went extremely far away from Earth (billions and billions of light years away), that the distribution of matter across the universe would appear identically. We can&apos;t test that. If we&apos;re wrong about that assumption, then we would have to reevaluate everything we think we know about the universe. So cool!

  SPHERE. &nbsp;This is my third night watching this trying to make it to the end before falling asleep haha. I watch quite a few science channels and this was such a wonderful wealth of space facts that really put things in perspective! &nbsp;🌌
