I have not eaten dinner for years; eating a heavy meal before bed has always disrupted my sleep. I will eat a bit of fruit and a sandwich together with a cup of herbal tea, but nothing more.

this is so interesting for me to hear I literally have a "first sleep" and don't even mean to, that's honestly why I'm awake now, everyday for years I've went to sleep at 8 pm and I wake up at 12 am or 1 am then fall back asleep around 3am or 4 am then wake up a few hrs  later. I naturally do this.

Left to myself I like to be asleep by 9.0 pm after a light supper several hours earlier.  I like to sleep according to day length and season, it makes me feel much healthier and gives me excellent mental health. A few times a week I wake up and stay awake for a couple of hours and then fall asleep again all quite naturally.  I live alone so it is easier for me to live by these natural rhythms!!

I loved watching this Tudor nightime bed routine....infact I found some of these routines medically apt & quite ahead of its time...I am from Assam, India...dinner by 6 pm & bedtime at 7 pm is also followed in ancient Ayurvedic system...best wishes to this channel 👍🏻🙏🏻

The 2 part sleep is Natural Rhythm, getting dressed didn’t take an hour, etc etc
