  The performance of Christoph Waltz as Colonel Hans Landa, is one of the greatests ever. What an amazing character. Terrifying, classy and smart as hell.

  You asked about where Brad Pitt’s character’s nickname “the Apache” came from. Apache is an Indian tribe that participated in scalping their enemies, which is also Aldo & the Basterds calling card.

  I absolutely understand why it&apos;s called a comedy. It&apos;s funny. I suppose you have to read it in the sense of it not taking itself seriously with a very serious topic (obviously it does at times but the majority of the time it doesn&apos;t).<br>It&apos;s basically the definition of Dark Comedy.
