A nice low shelf can work. Get one slightly taller than the height of the bed. Allows for the most light and it serves as a nice shelf for the living room and a nightstand for the bed.

I think I'd flip the bed and the desk and then move the shelf unit accordingly

I like the Murphy bed option especially the low ones that you can put books or plants on top of.

An alternative would be a 3/4 height frosted glass divider or glass blocks that can be stepped down from the wall to shape the view of the sleeping area. Plants can be displayed on the steps to soften the edges and bring nature into the space.

I agree with others that the bed should go where the desk is. The fridge would act as a natural divider and you need some kind of storage for beddind and clothes. A Murphy bed/desk unit is interesting, but then you have the hassle of pulling it up and down every night and moving things out of the way. I like your thoughts about light, flow, and circulation though. That makes sense.

One Problem with this Studio is the Kitchen beeing to large for that room. As the bed cannot be placed before the doors, therefore  it must be placed before the window, while the kitchen is dark, the working place is dark, the bed is nearby the window. And there is no eating place. I would do quite some things different in that apartment.🤔 The kitchen could be made perpendicular to the room and smaller, or L - shaped, then there would be a small anteroom with a wardrobe. A larger table could be placed to the window, used for working and eating , with a high couch or bench at the wall as a seat and maybe one or two chairs. This was done in earlier times, when there was a lack of space. Then the other wall remains for storage and a bed, which could possibly be smaller or a folding bed, perhaps covered by a paravent or curtain. Large kitchens  and large beds are just more suitable for larger apartments.

the bed should go where the TV is, long side against the wall. The divider should separate the bed form the kitchen, turning it into a gallery kitchen and adding a bunch of storage. At the end of the apartment you can have your wide living area couch/desk/dining table with a ton of light.

A Murphy bed or wall bed is the obvious solution. Gives you more floorspace too.

Nice but where do you pack your cloths or is there storage under the the bed?
