  Hello! Filipino here! I studied broadcasting and communications in 2004-2008 and back then this accent was taught to us as "neutral accent". I feel proud to know that Filipinos now represent this accent internationally. 💕

  As a Filipino Teacher, we really teach English subjects more deeply, we even have the EOP (English Only Policy) so that every student can enhance their speaking in English language, we are very particular with our grammar and articulation that is why I guess the Philippines is very well known in the English language.

  Hi there! We Filipinos aren’t only good in speaking English but we are also taught how to write “legibly”. Thank you for recognizing our good manners when speaking  to all the people out there. That’s part of our training while growing up back home.

  came to the US for an internship and was heavily praised for my ability to speak the language fluently, when my only background in learning it was from school and movies. Never in my life have I used the English language fluently and 24/7 outside of school (when presenting). And I think that comes with a lot of us, so it&apos;s actually a bit crazy to think about at times that we can tap into that.
