I've heard that the actual reason for removing the developers' room in the American and Easytype releases was to make room in the game for the expanded training rooms that can be found in the first few towns of those versions. Would anyone happen to know if these training room maps take up the same slots in the map data that were occupied by the developers' room maps in the original Japanese game?<br><br>While the maps were removed, their "enemy" encounters were not, and can still be accessed with a Game Genie code. They are all called "Dummy" in the American release.

actually on the nes if you use the game genie code for experience you can learn fire 2 or 3? before fire 1....lol
