  Agree. You gotta get your eyes and heart on it.  It's a vibe. You are also right about water.  I paid up for 15 acres and a water well in Northern New Mexico.  With lots of trees.  Glad I did. It's so dry now, everywhere.

  Having lived in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas,and northern Nevada….I choose the northern half of nevada east and southeast of Reno/Carson city. Ten years homesteading in nevada, and loving it the high plains the weather suits me, plus it’s cheap to live here and you have some decent towns within a hours drive. I believe the winters are milder then northern New Mexico or Arizona and population is far less. Crime is far less, and basically no gang activity as the locals are conservative and work to maintain that attitude. ❤

  That yellow thing is not a storage container.  Well it is, but for poop.  It's a septic tank.  The brown one looks like a water tank.

  The place at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsBTD8sb2WM&amp;t=900">15:00</a> mark we looked at over two years ago. As far as I know it’s still for sale but seems the owner has raised the price twice since then lol

  Native Floridian here been thinking about moving out west to Arizona or Montana recently along with Minnesota due to my mom’s roots; loved the video, great information and views.

  Almost every comment is negative. People like staying comfortable and don&apos;t like taking risks. If I listen to people all the time, I would never get anything done.

  I was interested in the Kingman, AZ area. You can find lots 10 to 20 or 30 minutes away with NO HOA and you can pay with instalments
