In my gym, there is a skinny guy who looks skinny but he can do a one arm pushup and is near to one arm pull ups too. He can lift heavier than almost everyone but he looks like an average guy.

"Your muscles grew, but your strength didn't" may not be the most first world problem, but it's definitely up there.

I am a really skinny Asian guy. And I have always thought that I was doing something wrong when it came to this.
For context: I started doing Parkour when I was three years old, and Martial Arts since I was five. But even after years of constant training, my body never looked like how big muscular heroes of America movies looked. But I have been getting stronger. My last recorded vertical jump height when I was a teenager was six feet high. And I could run and catch up with cars (but not at their maximum speed of course). And can climb a rope five storeys high without any gear (no gloves and barefoot). And I've continued to get stronger into my adult years.
But my peers always focused on the fact that my body didn't "look" good and shamed me for it despite also acknowledging that I have been getting stronger. I was just not looking better.
Even after an "incident" from years 2022 - 2024 where I was locked in a room for years without any movement or exercise has weakened and emaciated me; once I was out of that situation and started working out again to regain my strength. It was still the same situation of getting stronger, but my body does not look aesthetically better.
But I guess this video may quell my doubts on myself that I am not doing anything wrong. I may have just been training a different way from others. Thank you for this video.
And I also apologize in case I said something wrong in English.

The thing is if your reps are easy the make it harder , if normal push ups feels easy try different variation , make reps slower , or add weight , same as pull ups and squats and other things
