  The Royersford Excelsior 21&quot; is a special drill press. They were the standard model installed on most, if not all US Victory Ships during WWII. I have something of a history with these ships, and have been aboard 7 of them. All 7 had this model drill press in their machine shops down in the engine room. I have pictures of the machine shops of 5 different Victory Ships with this drill press, and can share those pics with you, if you&apos;d like. Would be some cool history to accompany your restored press!

  Having just spent two days repairing and restoring a drill press that was a mere 40 years old, I really appreciate the effort involved in bringing this ancient monster back to life. Chapeau.
