This backstory makes a lot of sense, really like it. It makes Nihilus even more interesting character.

So given how close he and Meetra Surik were as walking wounds in the force I wonder how physically close they were to each other when the mass shadow generator was activated? I could even see the soldier that would become Nihilus being in the same room as the general when she turned it on.

Was not expecting him to be just a soldier instead of an actual Jedi. Now that I think about it, he probably fed on other survivors, not knowing what was going on until he accidentally found the academy and learned about the force and his hunger then he remade his old ship the Ravager. Or did Kreia actually go to Malachor? Would be insane.

It’s so easy to fall into the trap of talking more off topic and completely go into a tangent about awesome epic topics and then you realize it’s bedtime and we’re all so happy that we wouldn’t mind

The mystery is fun and all, but this makes him feel less like an… entity.

It attributes motive and explains his abilities. It also makes decisions, like which ship to use, feel calculated- not haphazard.

Cool video! Nihilus has always been one of my favorites and now even more so.

Your pacing, cadence, and inflection have gotten so much better over the time you've been doing this. I think this is the best video you've done in that regard.
