  I swear Palpatine could walk around with a giant neon/hologram sign saying &quot;I am a Sith ⬇️&quot; and the Jedi council seeing that would just shrug like <i>Oh that Chancellor and his pranks</i>

  Dooku literally outs Palpatine as the sith lord to Obi Wan right before the start of the Clone Wars, and the Jedi chose to dismiss it. They were willfully blind fools who brought their own end upon themselves.

  Love how when he made his famous speech, declaring &quot;the first galactic empire&quot; he was wearing traditional red Sith robes, as a statement. The Sith being ancient history at this point (1000 years), no one even noticed the significance.

  Palpatine is the Sith Lord. Shall we arrest him.<br>No. Fly a freighter packed with explosives directly into his office while I&apos;m talking to him on the phone. That way we can tell the public that the Chancellor was the victim of a Separatist terrorist attack.

  If the Jedi believed the prophecy, why did they think the Sith were gone? If they thought the Sith were gone, in their minds this meant that they HAD balance currently.

  I say this all the time, even when the Jedi started to suspect Palpatine it wasn’t as the potential Sith Lord. It was because they thought he was a corrupt politician that should be removed from office.. Evidence the Jedi remained obtuse until it was flat out stated PALPATINE IS THE SITH LORD.
