  The reality of pattaya city: its one of the best citys in the world! It can offer you everything you want in terms of entertainment, nightlife, girls, food and drinks, and even a sense of comfort/relaxation! <br><br>The only way pattaya can be a bad place for you is if you make it bad yourself! Play by the rules, Be respectful, imbrace everything pattaya as to offer you and its one if the best places in the world! Great video as always 👍

  Last year when I was there in Pattaya for over a month I didn&apos;t get scammed until I got back to the states and had to pay 15 bucks for a coffee and 25 for a cheese quesadilla at LAX

  IMO the most dangerous things in Pattaya are the pavements/sidewalks, Traffic, Soi dogs and how gullible guys can be when it comes to women. That&apos;s not to say nothing violent happens or that scams don&apos;t happen, but that&apos;s usually at least partially self-inflicted when people don&apos;t actively try to avoid them. <br>If you get blind drunk and/or start arguments in your home country then there&apos;s a fair chance you&apos;d have problems and that&apos;s true of everywhere in the world including Thailand.<br><br>As for the reason tourist numbers are down, IMO most people in the west understand that most countries in the west are on the edge of a serious economic depression and are watching the pennies/cents for when it happens.<br><br>As for prices in Pattaya. I think the biggest cost increase (outside of nightlife and air travel) is hotels. There were many sub 1,000 decent places but many of them have been replaced/re-furbished and come back as mid-rage (over 1k hotels), whilst everything new appears to be top or top-mid range now. Still cheap compared to the west, but much less decent budget places now.<br><br>BFs were supposed to cover the drinks the staff weren&apos;t selling &amp; therefore that staffs wages, so adding drinks to the BF is a way to make money instead of just cover costs.

  I think the biggest reason why there are fewer tourists to Thailand now, is the rising cost of flighttickets. For a couple of years ago a flight ticket from Europe to BKK used to cost around EUR 700. Now it has almost doubled. Besides that also the change in VISA rules, which make it difficult to do multiple entries per year without a VISA.

  I don&apos;t think it&apos;d take long for a regular girl who had her heart broken by Dave, Chris, Jyung or Sven to realise that &apos;stacking&apos; international income sources is a good idea. Cash for a new iPhone remedies heartache faster than a 2 a.m. &apos;I miss yooouuu&apos; video call.
