The song is about soldiers in Vietnam getting addicted to heroin to cope with the horrors.

Dude! That's why we listen to music. Black Sabbath evokes dark emotions that some people sweep under the rug. Keep up the good work!!

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NatWcfEMMwU&t=193">3:13</a>. Bill Ward is the unrated signature of Sabbaths sound.

I think you would really like the lyrics to Black Sabbath "After Forever." The lyrics were written by the band's bassist, Geezer Butler. Some people claim "After Forever" is one of the earliest examples of Christian metal, not sure if I would go that far but it's in the same vein. People often assume that Black Sabbath is a satanic or evil band and the reality is very different.

My brother died of a drug overdose 20+ years ago and I’ve been the lead singer of a Black Sabbath tribute band for nearly just as long, called Hand of Doom. Come watch us, we’re a good time
