I love this podcast. Im almost 67 years old, I started growing gorilla Style in 82. Back then we would seek out seeds from everyone we knew that got fire weed, and we would find secluded areas to put out our crops, after a few years I was forced to stop growing and go on a 3 year paid state vacation, 😅 after that I traveled from state to state gathering seeds along the way, after a few months I had accumulated several hundred different varieties of needs, not long after I purchased a few acres of land 20 miles from the nearest town and started growing again, after a few years of growing and searching for what I was looking for in effects and flavor and resistant to pest and mold, I found myself once again on a state paid vacation for a few years, during which I lost everything, and again after my vacation I repurchased my place acres now at 66 I'm starting all over again, only this time I'm working with a very small budget lol. Anyway I'm probably either one of the most dedicated growers out there, or the stupidest, lol either way I'm a life long believer in the benefits of cannabis and I'll die defending my God given right to grow, possess, and consume cannabis. Tending the garden has been a huge inspiration to me. An image of real attainable community and passion through hard work and love for the earth. I’ve watched it many times and shared it with loved ones. Big up Jesse, thanks for the work you and gene do. I’m growing out a bunch of stuff from green source gardens now.

And as for the music in the film - big up. From the opening scene to the final credits. Perfect pairing.

Thanks FSOTD

Love from Minnesota.

💚💚💚 Amazing conversation! These dudes are awesome! Love listening to these chats...hearing some history and little nuggets of wisdom about growing and breeding. Thanks for sharing FSOTD! Also Tending the Garden is a GREAT doc...definitely worth watching! 💚💚💚 Wild about the hearing thing and goosebumps...I totally get what Jackson was talking about there...also the part on big ag for food, hemp, etc was also spot on. 💚💚💚
