Also, apologies for double comment, but need to feed the algo and all, but you need to know about Jean Phillipe. He once locked himself out of his London flat. He tried to break back into it by crawling around the ledge outside the building. He fell fifty feet and broke his back. By all accounts, Gordon was at the hospital EVERY. DAY. to check on his friend. This was in 2005. If security hadn’t hauled that music doctor out, Ramsay might have physically tossed that motherfucker on his ass. JP is the fucking GOAT on this show. I used to run a contest over on Something Awful, where people had to guess how many times certain phrases were used, actions happened, and which chef you thought would win. One of the categories quickly became “Awesome JP Moments”. We even made an emote just for him. Because that man is amazing.

I'm not sure if someone said it on the last video, but apparently the customers have to put their names on a waitlist to even come to the restaurant, and they're warned before they put their name on the list that it is very possible that they're either gonna wait for a long time before their food comes or they may not get food at all. So while the customers' annoyance is very understandable, they also do have an idea of what's gonna happen

I forgot how brutal this punishment was since it’s been a while since I saw season 1. This whole season definitely felt like they were still figuring out this show as it went along.

Gordon's M.O. is based primarily on what level you're at. So in Hell's Kitchen, where they are professionals looking to own/run a Michelin-star restaurant, he's going to hold them to the highest possible standard. Kitchen Nightmares comes up next, but these are people who are running their own restaurants, so again, the expectations are right up, if less than what he expects out of the HK crowd. Down from there is MasterChef, where he's working with home cooks who have expressly NOT worked in professional kitchens before. And finally, MasterChef Junior, where he's mostly just a happy, happy guy, working with children.

In fairness to gordon.....All the chef's are trained to cook the dishes for at least a day before they start serving in the restaurant....So when he still gets served raw food....That's when he gets irate....😂

Working in that kind of heat is ridiculously unsafe and a potential legal shitstorm waiting to happen. Probably why they never did it again after this.
