I Created a Labyrinth That Could Consume an Entire Campaign

It's difficult to over-emphasize how much LESS work this is than obsessively drawing every room. This level of abstraction is perfect: enough to give you a sense of places that adventurers haven't seen yet, a general design schema for when you DO need to be more detailed, and strong emphasis on the things that DO need to be consistent. Simply, excellent.

Perfect inspiration to finish my own underground city state that shifts beneath the sands of my land. Bravo redquills, excellent work as always

This is such a brilliant way to create a wide array of potential encounters AND further expand some to create more player agency.

I love when an entire campaign (or even many campaigns) can happen in a single city. I ran one of my favorite campaigns in a single city. I never fleshed it out to quite the level you did here on paper, but I got pretty close in my mind.

I’ve listened to this at least 5 times already, gathering inspiration and adjusting my mental categories around world- and encounter-building. Absolutely brilliant.

This is exactly what I need and has come at just the right time!
I've been pushing around an idea for a whole campaign that is all about starting at the deepest end of a mega dungeon with no memories and trying to find a way out.

Creating a dungeon like that felt super daunting, but this has been greatly inspiring. Incredible video! Looking forward to the next.

I love finding this. I have a world I'm building that I want to be predominantly underground, but wrapping my head around the idea has been tricky. Laying things out like this is super helpful. Definitely coming back for more views in the future!

I have the same sweater - that's crazy.

Also, this is very similar to a city I'm making, even though mine is entirely different - it's just the theme of layers on layers that makes them resonate. Great idea for how to lay all of that out in a single page though. Brilliant.

It feels like you read my mind, I recently mentioned to my players that one NPC originates from underground civilisation and now they want an adventure about it. This video is exactly how I envision running it.

I love how the depictions of physical space and world information fit together so well, and I appreciate a methodical approach to adding complexity.

A question of usage: Would your players get to see this map during the campaign? In the video on the roleplay-focused map of Moonlight, you said you intended to give that map to the players since all the symbols are undeciphered. Is that the case for all your maps? How do you handle the problem of wanting to give them a beautiful map to ground the campaign, but not give too much information away?
